The Art of the Fold: Tradition Reimagined

Welcome to my workshop. My name is Denis Cherevichnik, and I invite you into a world where the precision of historical mechanics meets the soul of hand-finished steel.

I do not simply manufacture knives; I breathe new life into the complex traditions of 17th to 19th-century European craftsmanship. As an arms historian and a lifelong practitioner of historical fencing, I see every folding knife as a bridge between the elegance of the past and the demands of the present.

This space is dedicated to those who appreciate the honest touch of a master’s hand. I have consciously rejected the path of mass production and CNC automation. Every blade here is ground by hand, every spring is tuned by ear, and every mechanism is assembled by me, from start to finish, using the same principles that guided the masters of Thiers and Albacete centuries ago.

Whether it is a classic notched slipjoint or a folding interpretation of a Renaissance dagger, my work is about more than just utility. It is about the tactile connection to history, the reliability of expert heat treatment, and the integrity of a tool made without compromise.

I invite you to explore my current collection and discover a piece that speaks to your sense of heritage and engineering.
