1. Shipping & Age Verification
To ensure the highest level of security and compliance with international regulations, all handcrafted items are shipped from Latvia (European Union) exclusively via UPS with Mandatory Adult Signature & Age Verification.
- Age Verification: By placing an order, you certify that you are of legal age to purchase and possess edged tools in your jurisdiction. UPS will verify your ID upon delivery to ensure compliance with adult signature requirements.
- Processing Time: Orders are typically dispatched within 2-3 business days. Please note that processing does not occur on weekends, Latvian national holidays, or major international holidays when postal services are closed.
- Transit Times: On average, delivery to the USA, UK, and other major international destinations takes approximately two weeks.
- Tracking: A tracking number will be sent to your email immediately after the shipment is registered with UPS.
2. Costs, Duties, and Taxes
- Shipping Rates: Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and added at checkout. While shipping is generally not included in the base price, promotional discounts or free shipping may occasionally be offered on specific items.
- Import Duties: For all international orders, the buyer is solely responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local sales taxes (VAT/Sales Tax) that may be levied by the destination country.
3. Customs & Compliance
It is the buyer’s absolute responsibility to ensure that the item purchased is legal for import and possession under the laws of their local state, province, or country. We are not responsible for items seized, delayed, or confiscated by customs or law enforcement authorities due to local restrictions.
4. Returns & Damage Claims
- All Sales Are Final: Due to the unique, handcrafted nature of custom edged art, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or “change of mind” refunds. Please review all photographs and specifications carefully before completing your acquisition.
- Damaged in Transit: While we package every item to withstand international transit, if your package arrives with visible damage, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide clear photographic evidence of both the exterior packaging and the item itself to assist us in the claims process with UPS.
